Completion of the C-100 Complex's HVAC System
The Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership, LLC (FRNP), in support of the Department of Energy Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO), is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide an initial analysis, evaluation of available options, detailed design, procurement, construction, and installation and testing of a replacement Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) for the C-100 Building Complex at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP). The C-100 Building Complex is composed of the C-100 Administration Building which is adjoined by the C-101 Cafeteria and the C-102 Medical Facility. The current HVAC system consists of multiple zones in the complex, which utilizes multiple plant-wide distributed systems such as the recirculating heat system (RHS), the plant steam system, the chilled water system (CWS), the plant compressed air system, and the plant electrical distribution. One of the goals for FRNP is to shut down the RHS, CWS, Steam, and air distribution systems at the plant site, however, continue to provide HVAC service to the C-100 Building Complex. FRNP will consider outside-the-box ideas for replacement of this system at this complex.
